Four Stage* Filtration System For Evaporative Coolers is More Efficient
1. First stage: Pre-filter: Birdscreen and insect filtration
2. Second stage: hot outside air is drawn through a six inch deep curtain of misted fresh water
3. Third stage: air is pulled through a two inch thick wet filter
4. Fourth stage: air is pulled through another one inch thick dry filter to prevent water droplets entering the duct system
This design is superior to conventional cooling pads. Mold spores and other airborne pathogens are less likely to be an issue, as these filter dry quickly when not in use.
Overall cost of operation is less versus traditional cooling pads.
